Founded by high school sweethearts John and Tara, the company grew out of a shared love for craftsmanship, design, and the satisfaction of seeing a project through from start to finish.

With roots in carpentry and experience in the Philadelphia Millwright Union, John brings deep knowledge and an eye for detail to every job. Tara keeps projects running smoothly, ensuring clients always feel informed and at ease. Together, they’ve built J.Quest into a trusted name for homeowners who want quality work and a stress-free renovation experience.

When they’re not on-site, you’ll find them hiking with their golden retriever, Murphy, or exploring new ski spots around the country.
